Doing Better

I'm getting better slowly but surely. When I gauge my improvement every three days the differences become obvious. I am able to sleep a little better and the stomach pain has lost some of its teeth.

For the most part I rest in bed. I love hearing Reed, usually, as his sounds tend to be more coo than cry. Eli is funnier, but those laughs come at a cost. He battles with Liza; like serious battles.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Your support is the best therapy of all.

My thoughts are with you everyday since I heard the news. One word keeps coming to mind as I think about your battle and more specifically YOU the person - Persevere. I looked the word up this morning in the dictionary. Here it is -
per·se·vere
1. to persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; continue steadfastly.
2. to persist in speech, interrogation, argument, etc.; insist.
–verb (used with object) 3. to bolster, sustain, or uphold: unflagging faith that had persevered him.

I love that you will persevere. You are a hell of a man, David.

david,
i'm glad you are feeling a little better and enjoying listening to reed's sweet sounds. i sympathize with the battles eli is having with liza. sometime i ask leo what year and day it is when we are battling just to make myself remember how little he understands --it all must be very confusing for eli. i send a big hug to you all. hope the upswing continues.
