On Track

I'm eating a little more each day, meds are being reduced, and I feel good. If we stay on this track, then a May discharge is definitely in the cards.

One quick clarification: I am not at all nervous about the discharge. I can't wait for it. I was nervous about writing about discharge, thinking that I may jinx the timing if I start talking and writing about it. Believe me, I am more than ready to get out of here.

Thank you for the progress report. Excellent news. One of my favorite quotes: "If you can see it, you can be it." Seems like you're envisioning a New York City May. I am right there seeing it with you. XO EAH

The strength of your family and your will amazes me. It amazes me how articulate you can be while going through your struggle and the pain and agony that accompanies it. While I have many times thought how I can't imagine being in your shoes, I can just as easily say that I have also thought how I wish I could be just like you. Can't wait to see you in the neighborhood again. Much love to you and your family xoxo

david,
we are so glad you are feeling better. I don't blame you for not wanting to say or write anything yet about being out of the woods for fear of jinxing yourself. I do see you as the type that is ready to get out. The best news for all of us is that the nausea has finally eased a bit. You probably don't even like to read that word. I hope I didn't bring on a wave.

We hope to see you soon. Remember, our house is always open 24/7 for your kids if they ever come up this way--we don't have anything scheduled other than wake, eat, play and sleep. Kyle would love it.
Everybody is thinking of you a lot and so impressed and so proud of you, too. It is the unwavering positive attitude at which we all marvel. And you are a talented writer. Keep everyone posted, we all like to hear from you.
In touch,
Sheila Brown

You have made my day. I loved the thought of a May release. We are all awaiting that day with you. Love, Aunt Ellen

David, you're making it happen!
Your sister's quote is right on and reminds me of Herzl: "If you will it, it is no [mere] dream."

Jerry and I are waiting to cross the river and see you, and Shamai is waiting to play with his cousins. We can't wait to see you and Liza!

No Hitter! Today, Jon Lester of the BoSox threw a no-hitter against the Royals. (you probably know he is a non-hodgkin's beater) You and I are going to have a serious game of catch soon, and we'll get you an agent. See you in NYC or DC real soon.
