What a Day!
Wow, today has been like no other. I got 5 straight hours of sleep last night, and haven't looked back since.
Around noon I drove Ruby to Battery Kemball park (about a mile away) to meet friends and their dogs for a walk. I've never enjoyed driving so much - hot car, windows open, Rascal Flats blaring, sun glasses, driving a little too fast - just awesome. I then walked probably for almost an hour! Easily four times what I've done before and without being winded. Incredible. I don't know what happened but I'll take it.
Liza and I grilled fish last night and I wonder if it is the magic variable. Between my struggling stomach and low white blood cell count (I'm neutropenic with white count less than 1000), I can't eat many foods. So I went back to the same market and picked up another piece of the same fish. I'll eat it at the same time tonight. Let's hope for the best.
I love you all and hope you are having a great weekend!

Can't tell you and Liza how great it was to talk to you tonite. You just SOUND good. And you had a great day. Hooray! I'm so moved by your strength and inspired by you both. It's hard to put it into words. And, man, I wish I could have seen you zooming down the street, Ruby alongside, shades on, tunes blaring. Awesome. "Music" to my ears! Ha ha ha.
More thoughts, as always!

Dave,
I am so glad you had a good day today!
Sending a hug and thoughts of healing,
Leeann, Rob and kids
I was thinking about you over the weekend and I haven't checked your site in a while. The last entry looks like you are doing great and as I read back over the past few weeks it looks like you've had a hard journey to get where you are today. Keep the faith - you are going to make it and be stronger than ever!
Glad you had your best day yet. This is terrific! Must have felt so good. Music to my ears too! Dana
