Breathing

I have a fungal infection in my lungs, which the doctors are all over. They say it should improve or be gone in a week or two. It is scary because I often feel out of breath, but my oxygen levels are 100% and it is more an inconvenience than a problem. I have my faith, family and friends working in full gear, which also makes it better. In the meantime, my whites counts continue to rise daily, I'm now up to 5000. This is very encouraging and should help bring along all of the other counts.

I love you all. Your emails and notes are a great encouragement. Thank you.

Fungal, Schmungal! All the more reason for those deep-belly-breaths.

I wouldn't worry about the fungal infection in your lungs, Dave. Steve gets them in his feet all the time, and with those extra lbs. he's carrying around, his oxygen levels aren't even close to 100%!

Coming back to the States this week so I'll be sending good vibes your way from Baltimore, my friend.

You da ma...

A fungus among us? You will beat that, too - you're on the mark - it's just an inconvenience that will be gone before you know it. Let's concentrate on that awesome WBC! We're thinking of you and sending lots of love your way. Love,

Deep breaths, lots of love. This too shall pass ...

TOTD:

"You know that our breathing is the inhaling and exhaling of air. The organ that serves for this is the lungs that lie round the heart, so that the air passing through them thereby envelops the heart. Thus breathing is a natural way to the heart. And so, having collected your mind within you, lead it into the channel of breathing through which air reaches the heart and, together with this inhaled air, force your mind to descend into the heart and to remain there." ~Nicephorus the Solitary

LOVE YOU GUYS!
