Night #1

I'm just about to complete my first night in the hospital and I feel like it is the first night back to college. The surroundings are familiar, friends and family and are all around and checking in constantly, I went a little overboard on the fluids last night, and a beautiful woman slept in my room but not in my bed.

Seriously, I feel so blessed and fortunate to have you all love and support my family unconditionally. We appreciate your offers, prayers, thoughts, well wishes, visits, and encoragement. Without you, this process is near impossible. With you, this process is almost easy. Thank you. Liza and I love you.

Ha ha ha ha! You totally cracked me up with the "beautiful woman in the room but not in my bed" line.

That sense of humor just shines through, Dave.

Hugs to you and your family,
Leeann

David, You will beat this! The sun just came out in LA, pushed through the rain and clouds of the past few days. A good sign for sure. Love to you and Liza and everyone who is with you, both near and far. XOXO Elizabeth

David,

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. It seems like just yesterday you were running up and down the fields at Friends playing lacrosse! I know that same vigor, strength, and personality will help you through this.

David, You may remember me from Lars' birthday party a couple of moths ago. My name is Dean Watkins. I came with Jim Wexler and sat next to you for a good while. Jimmy told me afterwards who you were and I never would have guessed it was you he had told me about some time ago when you were diagnosed.

The reason for my post is to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As well as let you know of something I stumbled across recently that has done wonders for me as far as personal growth and focus. It's called "Holosync". Too much to get into here but I put a couple of things on a website for you to check out and see what you think.

This has made a huge change in my way of thinking and if nothing else, it relieves stress and makes me sleep great.

Get well, and remember that Gratitude and believing can bring anything you want into your life!

Holder,

You are in the Kallen's thoughts and prayers. You are strong and courageous and will overcome. Sorry to not have connected sooner - been out of touch out here in my new home, Des Moines, Iowa. All the best, my friend. Continue to TCB.
