Chemo Today
I start ICE chemotherapy as an in-patient at Hopkins today. ICE's goal is remission so that I can get a bone marrow transplant ("BMT"). The timing is 4-9 weeks of chemo and then the BMT, which takes roughly two months. The goal of the BMT is to be cured. We'll keep you posted. I'm happy to start the therapy to kill the cancer again.

Much love,
Linda, Ed, Adam & Jeff
Love the word CURED. Glad the cure is already underway. We are here for y'all in every way!!!!
love, Dana
We are with you all the way. Love, Aunt Ellen and Uncle Bill
We wish you the best and are thinking of you. Saw your beautiful children today at Laurie's and got a chance to play with Eli a bit. You have a wonderful family to support you. We are pulling for you!

I thought you'd like to know that Eli and Teddy did tag-team peeing today and broke in the Cohen's new basement toilet. (Though then they ran off and started rolling around on huge workout balls together ... ) Still, what little men they are! :) The MMs are here to take good care of not only the boys and you and Liza, but we also want to take care of everyone taking care of all of you. Please let us know if there's anything we can do. I don't want anything standing in the way of this new "c" word - CURE!! :)
Lots of love,
CMF
David,
We think of you all the time and are praying for your speedy and complete recovery -- keep up that positive attitude!
Love to Liza and the boychiks,
Shani, Jerry, Zakai, and Shamai
A favorite poem of my friend Lynne Litt, who asked me to post this for her. XO EAH
Come to the Edge
by Christopher Logue
Come to the edge.
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
It's too high!
Come to the edge.
And they came,
and we pushed,
And they flew.
David - We've never met, but I've known the Holder family for more than 15 years, as my daughter Margo went to Smith with Elizabeth. We "adopted" Elizabeth into our family many years ago and now that she's in California, we see and speak to her much more frequently. We all love her and you are blessed to have such a wonderful and caring sister!
Over the years she has shared family stories and events and I feel as though I know you, Annie and your parents by now.
We were saddened to learn of your illness, but know that you have such wonderful medical care along with the support of your friends and family, that you will beat it!
We, the Spiritus family wish you and your family well.
Dave - Glad you're back in our hometown. Bawlmer will get you well, hon.

Cancer Cannot ~
Invade the soul
Suppress memories
Kill friendship
Destroy peace
Conquer the spirit
Shatter hope
Cripple love
Corrode faith
Steal eternal life
Silence courage
