Feeling Good

Today was the day. I've got enough energy to be a responsible member of the family and it feels good.

I can't wait to have my body back, and I feel super lucky that this state is only temporary. I don't really know what it's like to live with chronic pain and fatigue because I know these symptoms will go away in a month. I just got a glimpse; enough to appreciate my health, and to better tolerate pain. I was a softy; probably still am, but a little tougher nonetheless (yet another silver lining).

I wish I could hug and laugh with each of you reading this blog. I think of you all often. Please know I am much better, and in large part due to your love and affection.

Hey Dave. So glad that today was a turning point. I'll be checking in on you and your family from the ranch in Oklahoma where, rumor has it, we just got wireless internet. What else could I ask for? BBQ, fried catfish, sweet tea and internet access! I may put you on the First United Methodist Church of Madill's prayer list just for kicks while I'm down there. :) See y'all when we get back! Dana

Ah, Teddy Fisher was once on that Okie list (in fact, I think the church members even made him a special book - just for him - and sold at the church bazaar). It is a VERY VERY special list and Teddy would be honored to be on it with David Holder, that's for sure! :)

Just wanted to tell you we are always thinking of you. So glad the weight is up. And I know you said no more dinners but we'd like to be held somewhat responsible for that weight gain, so if you need another lasagna, you know who to call!

So glad to hear all this progress!
